The Use of the Sinews Channels in Clinical Practice

22-23 November 2025 | Auckland, New Zealand

Location: 717 New North Rd, Mount Albert, Auckland 1022
Tuition: $425 as part of the full four-weekend series
(or $500 if attending a single weekend)

FLYER pdf

Each weekend explores one of the four Complement Channel systems — Sinews, Luo, Divergents, and the Extraordinary Vessels — creating a study of the channels of acupuncture. With all of these, you will be able to treat every patient that walks through your door.

While individual weekends can be attended, it is highly advised to take the series in its entirety. This is mainly because, as you begin working with these channels, you won’t need to use any other ways of previously working with the channels of acupuncture. Mixing can lead to confusion and a diluting of the treatment itself. Therefore, you need all of them.

The Sinew Channels

The Sinew channels are the most external of the classes of channels. They create the division between the exterior and the interior. They defend against pathogenic factors. They run the musculature, nourish the fascia, and create movement.

Structure:

What is Wei Qi and how do we nourish it?

How do we release pathogenic factors?

Channels pathways
