Nutritional Supplements, Herbal Medicines, Heat Patches, Epsom Salts, External Liniments, Foot Soaks and Essential Oils to take home are charged at an additional cost.

Cancellation Policy
We want to be here for all our patients, so if you need to change your appointment, please give us a friendly heads-up at least 48 hours in advance. This way, we can offer the time to someone else who needs it. Late cancellations might incur a small fee to cover our practitioner’s time and clinic resources. Don’t worry, though! We’ll send you a helpful reminder text 48 hours before your appointment. If you need to reschedule, just give us a call at (09) 816 8000. Payment Methods
We accept payment by Eftpos, Cash and Cheque. Credit card payments incur a 2.5% surcharge.

Home Visits
We can do home visits within an approximate 10km radius of the clinic. Please ring our receptionist on (09) 816 8000 to arrange a suitable time. Home visit fee $220 (with a valid ACC claim $150)

Accident Compensation Corporation (ACC)
If you have a valid existing claim ACC will subsidise your Acupuncture treatment. Acupuncturists are not able to make the initial claim, you would need to see your GP or Osteopath to do this. ACC will solely cover 12 Acupuncture sessions over the course of 12 weeks. Treatment must commence within a year from the date of injury.

Ph 0800 600 666 Under Health Positive Cover up to a maximum of $300pa. Treatment to be provided by a registered acupuncturist. NB – PSIS now known as Cooperative Bank insures members through UniMed

Police Association
Under Comprehensive Policy- the annual maximum claim is $450. Treatment to be provided by AcNZ registered acupuncturist. (current as of 1 July 2017)

NZ Post
Covers a maximum of $200 pa, $20 per visit

Veteran Affairs – War pensions.
No single document stating what is covered, however support can be claimed on a case-by-case basis for individual veterans.

HealthCarePlus/Education Benevolent Society Members
Ph 0800 600 666 Primary Care Benefit Maximum 50% up to $400. You will be provided with a receipt that you can submit for reimbursement.
